From day one, he made me feel so comfortable in the car. I was honestly very nervous and unsure of myself, but he has this amazing way of calming you down—he’ll just start talking about something random and before you realise it, you’ve forgotten your nerves and you’re actually driving confidently.
He explains everything really well, both the theory and the practical side, and breaks things down in a way that actually makes sense. Even the tricky manoeuvres start to feel manageable and like a game with him. What I really appreciated is that he focuses on helping you become a safe driver, not just someone who passes a test.
He’s incredibly patient and never makes you feel pressured. You’re allowed to make mistakes, and he always says it’s better to learn from them now than later on the road—which really stuck with me. During mock tests especially, he was always so encouraging. Even when I felt like I hadn’t done well, he would go through everything in such a positive way that I’d leave feeling confident again.
In fact, my last mock test right before the actual test had zero errors, which really shows how well he prepares you (I’ve even got the picture to prove it!).
Jeff is also very observant and alert while you’re driving, which made me feel really safe as a beginner. He’s always aware of everything around you and supports you without making you feel nervous.
Another thing I’ll genuinely miss is the conversations during lessons—they became one of the best parts of my week! He shares a lot of insights and little life lessons from his experience (not saying he’s old 😄, just very experienced), which made the whole journey even more enjoyable.
Thanks to Jeff, I passed my driving test on my first attempt, and I truly don’t think I could have done it without his guidance. After seeing my experience, my husband also joined him, so it even turned into a bit of a healthy competition between us!
He’s always reliable, punctual, and genuinely cares about his students doing well. If you’re looking for someone who is calm, supportive, and really knows how to teach, Jeff is the one.
